	POSITION: Sukošan, marina “Dalmacija”, N…
	WEATHER: sunny, light wind
	DESCRIPTION: During the day guests have been arriving to marina from all different directions, the weather was really nice, sunny and clear with light wind. Welcome desk for regatta check in was ready to serve skippers. There was a little bar with drinks and snacks served by hostess. After check in, all guests went to restaurant “Gajeta”, where the welcome dinner was prepared. Welcome show started after dinner with Sebastian as host for the evening. After Klaus and Miro gave short speeches, all other skippers had a chance to introduce themselves and crew. Later that night the atmosphere
went really hot with disco music and cocktail party with the barman sponsored by Ericsson.

18. 10. 2005.

	POSITION: Sukošan, marina “Dalmacija”, N… after 17.00 Biograd
	WEATHER: sunny, light wind
	DESCRIPTION: After the breakfast and skippers meeting, where the daily schedule was talked through, all crews had a free sailing – training day. About four o'clock afternoon all boats were already in marina Biograd. Crews were ready for first event – pulling ropes. It seams that everybody thought that they had a chance to be the strongest crew. After a lot of screaming and jelling we found out the best four teams for the finals on Thursday. At 18.30 all skippers and those who were interested went to hotel “Ilirija” for regatta rules lecture presented by international
referee Alen Kustić. The lecture was really interesting particulary because a lot of practical examples were explained. The dinner started at 20:00. After the dinner everybody went to a bar next door where “Beer and snack party” sponsored by Simens took place. During the party guys from skipper4you made fireworks from the beach near by.

19. 10. 2005.

	POSITION: Biograd – marina “Kornati” after 16.00 Sukošan marina “Dalmacija”
	WEATHER: sunny, light wind
	DESCRIPTION: Finally the first day of the race!! After breakfast and daily skippers meeting, everybody went on sea for a first triangle race. Hardly anyone could wait for a race to begin…but unluckily the wind was gone??? Regatta committee waited a few minutes and with a small delay and regatta starts!! First race was victorious again for last years champion Hans Portschy and we all assumed this will be again Portschy domination. But second leg brought the biggest surprise in mag 2005 -Siemens Croatia 1 with
Leon-Tomisalv Greguric simply won it. Favorites Simens Austria 2 – Hans Portschy ended it on third place with 2.26 min delay behind the winners. Man that was a day for Siemens first five places after first day overall!!! Karaoke party that night? ....just take a look at the pictures… It looks like everybody got crazy that night!

20. 10. 2005.

	POSITION: Sukošan, marina “Dalmacija”, N…
	WEATHER: cloudy with rain, south wind blowing
	DESCRIPTION: It was raining all night, the day was really cloudy, and boats went out on the racing field. The wind went stronger and stronger and under those circumstances after 4:03, 10 Vipnet 1 with Aleksandar Marković made their first victory leaving the second crew (Walter Polster) five minutes and fifteen seconds behind. Maybe we had forseen something here. After dinner in Sukošan, “Henry and Loyd” had a fashion night which was great because people were tired from the hard race that day and night before and they enjoyed in easy catwalk.

21. 10. 2005.

	POSITION: Sukošan, marina “Dalmacija” after 14.00 Kukljica – Island Ugljan
	WEATHER: cloudy, rain, intermediate south wind
	DESCRIPTION: Decision day is here! Portschy was still first but had same number of points like Kobilmiller. Brelih was third, Polster fourth and Marković at the fifth place seven points behind from leader. Fist race that day at good conditions (wind about 15 Knot's) with full sails and second victory for Vipnet 1, Kobilmiller second (in all five legs in fist five !), and Portschy had a really bad day, he finished at ten place with more than five and half minute behind the first place. Final race (there will be a lot of talk about that race) was a false start for five boats (one of them was Vipnet 1?!). Anyway after more than one our in the “dark room” referees and independent committee decided that overall winner is Vipnet 1 with Alexandar Marković. After dinner all the fuss about it goes down and Celebration night finished with a lot of laugh and good music dance and in the end with hard rain. Congratulations to winner and to all participants. Hope to see you all next year – the show must go on…
